It harks back to the earliest days of TOR when Jedi sentinels had yellow. Sentinels were scholars of the force as well as warriors. I'm pretty sure the dual phase lightsaber makes use of shifting between crystals. You could theoretically make one that shifted between different colored crystals. Could actually be a good distraction in combat. Imagine a lightsaber that could suddenly shift to a strobe effect. _________________

Leia has a red lightsaber that she received in the Corellian trilogy and used through a lot of the NJO. Personally, I'm a fan of Depa Billaba's: Whether it's red, magenta, fuchsia, or pink, I don't care, I'll take that color.
