worst films ever made

Does anyone remember the Urban Legend about the drive-in theatre showing Twister, that got hit my a tornado?

I'm pretty sure Snopes disproved it, but I remember thinking it happened at the local drive-in when I was a kid (granted I was 10 when it came out).

I've never really thought about it. On the few times I've talked of ... the twister things ... the names of hurricane and tornado have been used interchangeably.

Here's the definitions according to dictionary.com:

Hurricane - 1. a violent, tropical, cyclonic storm of the western North Atlantic, having wind speeds of or in excess of 72 miles per hour (32 m/sec). Compare tropical cyclone, typhoon.
2. a storm of the most intense severity.
3. anything suggesting a violent storm.

Tornado - 1. a localized, violently destructive windstorm occurring over land, especially in the Middle West, and characterized by a long, funnel-shaped cloud extending toward the ground and made visible by condensation and debris. Compare waterspout ( def. 3 ) .
2. a violent squall or whirlwind of small extent, as one of those occurring during the summer on the west coast of Africa.
3. a violent outburst, as of emotion or activity.

That about right?

Haha. Yes. The idea of a tornado is that it is a localized swirling cone that can actually be seen. Hurricanes, on the other hand, are also swirling storms, but they are so large that the actual storm cannot be seen except from above. Way above. For instance:

I see. I had presumed that tornadoes were more in-land, while hurricanes were closer to the coast. Yours makes much more sense as a definition. In that hurricane photo, can you see your house from there? Laughing

Sorry to step on people's memories, but all of the Home Alone movies are rubbish.

wot,no way. the 1st 2 home alone films r classics. ive never seen the 3rd home alone film i think they took it a bit to far.

*adds to the series of gasps* Home Alone is an amazing movie! As is the second one. Any of the ones after that were terrible, but the originals are classics. We watch them every Christmas. Smile

that is definately one of the best christmas films ever made, chevy chase is a legend. I preferred european vacation to the christmas one though. On about christmas films did anyone like bad santa? Hilarious film.
