Now, this is a BIG topic that cannot be avoided. No matter how much people deny it, it still exists. This thread will be the thread to disscuss anything Holiday Special; bloopers, trivia, opinions and FURIOUS RAGES OF BLIND UNPARALLELED ANGER.

I have never seen it, but the other day I found it on Youtube. What I'm gonna do is watch on Saturday (I think Life is too) and what I'll do is write a live commentary and post all of my reactions in one unedited post. So far I've watched ten minutes or so, but after that it will be my first reactions.

If anyone doesn't want me to do it for reasons of annoyance or bringing back haunting suppressed memories of the past, just say Very Happy

EDIT: Here is the full movie. Click if you're brave enough!

The late Bea Arthur of the Golden Girls fame makes an "interesting" appearance in it.

I started it, but shortly realized I had better things to do.

I'll probably finish it someday.

Well, it looks like some of us are watching it this Saturday. Will you join us? When I say watching it together, I mean at the same time, we won't actually be physically in the same room with eachother.

I'm not sure what I'll be doing on Saturday. We'll see.

It's on Youtube, so we can watch it whenever, I'll post a link here.

We don't have to watch it at the same time, though, it may be complicated with time differences and such.

Here we go.

Spoilers ahead for what little story there is

Don't like the opening credits.

That is one LOW budget Falcon.

BIG AMERICAN ANNOUNCER.

Holy Jesus. Jefferson Starship.

Kashyyyk looks cartoony.

Lumpy is VERY cute

DON'T FALL

A photo of Chewie.

As we all know, Kashyyyk is known for its contemporary 70's decor.

I'm skipping this stupid holo-circus.

No Aurebesh. Wierd.

Jeeeeez Luke looks wieerd.

He'll TAKE IT.

Hellooooooooooooo.

Yummy yum in their tummy tum.

Stir stir stir stir, stir stir stir.

Stir whip, stir whip, whip whip stir.

WAAAH.

Beat beat beat beat, stir whip stir whip, beat beat stir.

Jesus, WTH am I watching?

Kazook?

This is psychedelic.

I'm skipping Itchy's chair bit.

Leia and 3PO doin a bit of tax returns.

THAT'S NOT CHEWIE! OMG

Skipped that music video

Boba Fett pwning the Loch Ness monster. Groovy.

Really liked that animated bit.

Why would they release that instruction video. So many obvious mistakes, that mini-translator company has to sort out their marketing department.

Tobor is robot spelled backwards.

Just Ponda Baba doin a lil chicken dance...

Why would you pat the great Momaw Nadon on the head? So patronising...

I'm liking this MEC song.

Sorry, but why the hell were those Imperial officers watching a video on Kashyyyk of a Cantina on Tatooine!? Surely some of the shady requlars would notice the cameras? Whatevs

That's one stoooopid Stormtrooper.

Right, I am NOT listening to the Leia song. No way.

The music after, however, (the medal scene music) is the best music from the Saga.

Are they actually just reusing footage from ANH to fill time?

Right finished. Holy moly. There are no words.

Just reading your commentary has put a smile on my face. Hilarious!

Now I am both intrigued and utterly frightened. Confused

Have you seen it?

My favourite bit in the entire video was an ad for a remote control toy called Tobor. It shows the kids playing with this toy and a narrator going "BUY THIS TOY IT'S SO GREAT IT'S TOBOR BUY IT NOW IT SPINS IT MOVES IT'S TOBOR. TOBOR IS ROBOT SPELLED BACKWARDS" I completely LOL'd when he said "Tobor is robot spelled backwards." Laughing
