Who are everybody's favourite star wars characters from either movies books comics or games? Obviously i can guess a few peoples favoutites by there user names but feel free to say who they are and y.

mine would definately hav to b ROTJ luke closely followed by obi wan and mara jade.
Growing up luke was possibly my greatest movie charater and obi wan was also a really good character in the prequals and i just love reading about mara jade and would love to c her character in any future movies or tv series which i doubt will happen.

Any character once considered a favorite, regardless of how they're portrayed now:

1. Mara Jade Skywalker
2. Han Solo
3. Obi-Wan Kenobi
4. Jaina Solo
5. Characters from the Republic Commando novels
6. Boba Fett

Surprised there isn't already a thread for this...

But mine are Dannik Jerriko (obvs), Jabba Desilijic Tiure, Momaw Nadon, Muftak, Ephant Mon, Qui Gonn Jinn, Thrawn, Obi-Wan Kenobi... I'll think of some later.

Boba Fett, Luke, Anakin (esp. as Vader ) and Ben Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi. There are many more, but those are my absolute favourites.

I'm big on Anakin Solo and SOME Jacen Solo for favorites, but Han will always be number 1. I like 'mysterious Fett' before there was so much about him, and I actually like Bane in my top as well.

1. Thrawn
2. Revan

The rest are kind of case-sensitive. In the EU, I'm very partial to many of the post-RotJ characters. My favorites from that era are Jaina and Jag (obviously), but I also loved Pellaeon, and Jacen from Traitor to the end of the NJO. Jaden Korr has been one of my fvorite characters since I played Jedi Academy, and Paul S. Kemp's novels have only made me like him more. And I love Luke the way he is currently being written as of Conviction (I haven't read Ascension yet).

My favorite movie character is RotJ Luke. My favorite prequel character is probably Obi-Wan (excluding Episode 2), and I really came to like him in the Jude Watson books as well, particularly Secrets. I loved how she wrote him discovering the logic behind the rules of the Order. When you read her books, the rules suddenly seemed to have a purpose, and Obi-Wan followed them because he understood the purpose, not just because they were the rules. I get the impression that the TV series threw all that out the window, but for me, that's just another reason not to wach it.

Ok

Darth Vader (Classic trilogy)
Darth Revan
Darth Malgus
Luke Skywalker (ROTJ)
Talon Karrde
The Chiss
Corran Horn
Booster Terrik

I suppose most people thought I would have said Revan and when I read the book he may go to the top of my list.

Booster and Talon were always interesting characters from the EU.

Never read anything on Revan, but the Old Republic is my favourite era, and he seems like the kind of character I'd like. I'm gonna go to Waterstones this week and get the book.

The OR era is much more interesting then the CW era in my opinion.

There is also so much great story potential from that era. They have thousands of years to cover and they have only just scrapped the surface. There could be spinoff stories from TOR game.

Hopefully Del Rey go in this direction.
