I was actually looking through those old Marvel comics just yesterday, I never could work out what was supposed to be on Jabba's face Laughing

He looked "weird" to me when I saw him. He looked a bit like a Whipid but brown and not at all like a crime lord.

The one where he's a yellow walrus? It makes him look more sophisticated.

Was Jabba going to be a slug when ANH was filmed?

On a side note, when you type "Jabba the" into Google, it suggests "Jabba the Hut"

I have another question; there's one bit in ANH that I never understood, it's when the Falcon is being chased by the TIEs and Han and Luke go to man the guns. They go onto the ladder vertically but they enter the guns horizontally. Is it just me or is my perspective wrong?

No, it's not just you. It was shot that way because it would have been too difficult to do it for real, and was explained away by saying it had a separate gravity field that causes it to look as though they're on a horizontal plane.

Yep advanced physics / gravity fields were involved. I like it- in fact some SWEU books have even touched on it.

Another question; on the spine of Tales from Jabba's Palace that looks like a sighing dinosaur. Could anyone tell me who/what that is? I know all of the characters and have always wondered who that is.

No, he was on the steps of Jabba's throne room when Leia (as Boushh) entered with Chewie.

Was he the character who kinda barks at C-3po as he enters the throne room with Artoo?

Yup, that's the one. In Tales from Jabba's Palace he is described as the "frog-dog"

Don't know if this is a silly question or not, but how many books/comics are there in the EU?
