I can't disagree with you, Crash. But I also think a lot of the criticism of TCW is just plain Lucas bashing. It bugs me a lot when I see posts that give no credit to Lucas -- typically saying the only good movies were one's he really didn't do himself like ESB (a falsehood btw)-- and yet blame him for everything they don't like. I recently saw a post on another forum where a young (and obviously ignorant) poster blamed Lucas for the post-ROTJ EU. He was promptly set straight by a number of posters.

Really, it's gotten so bad recently that someone stepped in and remarked that the next step would be someone calling for Lucas's assassination -- so people would come to their senses and realize how outrageous they're getting.

Finished Riptide last night. I'm gonna re-read it again, take some notes, and post my thoughts here.

I'd like to re-read it back-to-back with Crosscurrent. When I did that with Allegiance and Choices of One, it really added to the story. I know when I dove into Riptide, I had trouble trying to remember what happened with the clones in the last book.

I was the same. Liked the book though. Soldier was a good character and loved the sith.

It was a good book.

I preferred Crosscurrent but it was still enjoyable
