DannikJerriko EUC Staff Joined: 09 Nov 2011 Posts: 1204 Location: Nirn Quick question, does the "racism" one have to be like Inglorious Basterds, where it's about racism, or contains it, or could it be a very outdated film where the black man is a stereotyped version of a bumbling moron sidekick? Eg. Most detective comedy films from the 20's. And also, with *ahem* 36 and 37 do we have to see it or can it be a kind of a shadow or outline on a curtain? Eg. I really like to leave it up to players to decide. I think that your example of racism is a good one. No, the story wouldn't HAVE to be about racism. It would just have to contain it during some portion of the film. But if you wanted to include an outdated film, I think that'd work perfectly fine. As for the full frontal nudity... you'd be surprised how many movies would work for that. If you watch Saw IV and Borat, you've got both of those categories completed!

Once everyone starts to get to about 50 movies, the lists will take up a lot of space and be a pain to scroll through. The spoiler tag will make it much easier to scroll to each person's list and then view it.

Or it's just a one-shot? Could ya give me an example?

Wow, that's pretty crazy! I've never heard of the show, but I did do a little research just now using BBC. Based on what I'm seeing, I think it's fine to allow each episode to be used as one film. The reason simply being that, according to the BBC, the show is written as "feature length films," and not as a television show. I say, rock on with it! It sounds like a neat show, I'm gonna have to check and see if I get it on satellite.

I'm already getting drawn to stuff I've never heard of before. Anyway, this is what Wikipedia (the most reliable of sources, I know) has to say about LEXX: "The first season, debuting in Canada on 18 April 1997, consisted of four two-hour TV movies (sometimes screened as eight one-hour episodes), alternatively titled Tales from a Parallel Universe." I say, works for me!

They're detective shows based on the old novels. Each TV film episode is about two hours long, is a self contained story (but through it having the recurring character, it ties in to the series as a whole). While I'm not a big fan of Marple, I absolutely love Suchet's Poirot. If you like detective shows, and shows based in The Old Era, then I'm sure you'd like it, too. _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. That doesn't mean I hate or love Lucas, or agree or disagree 100% with him. That doesn't mean I prefer the PT over the OT, or vice versa. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
