Maul will be cool onscreen, but the show is running out of time for it to be taken seriously as "The Clone Wars" and not just "TV show jamming tons into this time frame". Maul, however, was kind of awesome. There was no awkward beginning like last episode. My frustration would lie only with his lack of anger towards Palpatine, who was the master that abandoned him. I would think he'd hate him almost as much as Kenobi. That and this whole Ventress thing. I loved the story she already had, do we really need to continue this? Oh well, other than those things this episode was good but still frustrating. Maul should have been left dead, he's not as cool as he was in TPM. There he was dangerous and insane, here he seems less that and less of a threat as well. Ya, him and Savage beat the crap out of Kenobi, but the minute Obi-Wan got a lightsaber Maul wasn't really a match for him without Savage there. They only had Maul start winning towards the end, but other than that Kenobi was sending Maul flying end over end a lot. I dunno, it seems cool but also not very well thought out. Also, why wouldn't Maul exact his revenge on Kenobi immediately on the burning planet? Why do the moronic supervillain thing and bring him aboard and wait for him to wake up? How dumb are bad-guy characters for this, it bothered me.
