Watched that last night. Amazing movie! The end makes me cry nearly every time. Just really makes you appreciate everything you've been given in life. Smile

I don't cry, but it's simply not Christmas without it.

By the way, love the avatar. Wink

I love It's A Wonderful Life! Its a classic and we watch it every holiday season! We got it in over Thanksgiving so my girlfriend could see it. She was very sheltered and growing up didn't really watch many movies so my family (who loves movies) has been catching her up Smile

Thanks! Salaris made that, and I thought it was too awesome not to use. Love it. Cool

You can't just NOT watch it! It's not a proper Christmas celebration if you don't. Smile

I got a Wii with Super Mario World. It's been so long since I've played Mario, it's surprisingly tough. Or I'm just surprisingly bad Laughing

Also got the Indiana Jones and Back to the Future trilogies on DVD.

Here's what I got;

Crimson Empire I
Dark Empire Trilogy
Retro Gamer Magazine
Star Wars Omnibus: A long, long time ago
Earphones
Star Wars coasters (which I shall NEVER put any mugs on Wink )
Star Wars mug with tin
Dandy annual 2012
Lego Snowtrooper Battle pack
Lego Naboo Battle pack
Riptide (I haven't read Crosscurrent Confused can't blame 'em, though)
World War Z (zombie book)
A kettle (my room is at the top of the house, so useful for hot water bottles and tea)
Skyrim (for the Xbox 360, I don't own one, I'm getting one in the sales)

Now, this was AMAZING when I unwrapped it (still is); my grandma got me the Star Wars annual from 1978 Shocked I have NO idea how she got it, she doesn't use the Internet, so it must have actually gone to find it. Astounding.

Really, really pleased with all my prezzies!

I got my brother a Neocube and one of those hats with the ears, I got my sister and Eastpak shoulder-bag and my chipped in to get my dad a Sony eReader. Mum said she didn't want anything.

I'm putting up that Skyrim Map up as a poster.

My wife got me a bunch of fun stuff from Think Geek! Including:
-Giant Microbe christmas tree ornaments
-Portal 2 book-ends
-Portal 2 coasters (the warning symbols, like Hard Light Bridge, Watch Out For Falling Weighted Cubes, Aerial Faith Plate, etc.)
-A Big Bang Theory shirt (the rules for Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock)

She also got me a fun card game, a lithograph of the original Star Wars movie poster, and some fun books.

For the books, it was funny. The books were cheap (three for a dollar), and one was Star Wars. She didn't think I owned it, but figured it didn't matter, since it was 30 cents. Turned out it was a First Edition of Splinter of the Mind's Eye!

I bought my wife a book she wanted, two tops from Smart Set, and a pair of games (we both love card- and board-games), and I made a Christmas tree ornament using a picture of us in Bern.

Also, I wanted to get her tickets to West Side Story, but tickets aren't on sale till January 30. So I made an invitation (in the style of Dinosaur Comics, www.qwantz.com). I traced the picture from my PC monitor, since my printer was empty lol, and then filled it in by hand. "DATE NIGHT --- AS SHE IS PLAYED". (anyone who reads Dinosaur Comics will find it funny).

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Or, Happy Newton-mas, as appropriate.
