Queen Padmè Skywalker Master Joined: 17 Jul 2009 Posts: 4948 Location: Sitting in front of a fireplace on Naboo exchanging pathetic dialogue with Anakin It's A Wonderful Life is coming on in a bit. _________________ All things die, Anakin Skywalker, even stars burn out. So this is how liberty dies....with thunderous applause. Those without swords can still die upon them The world is a mess and I just need to rule it.

We got it in over Thanksgiving so my girlfriend could see it. She was very sheltered and growing up didn't really watch many movies so my family (who loves movies) has been catching her up _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. The only way to get it quicker is to sacrifice the most.

Astounding. Really, really pleased with all my prezzies! I got my brother a Neocube and one of those hats with the ears, I got my sister and Eastpak shoulder-bag and my chipped in to get my dad a Sony eReader. Mum said she didn't want anything. Including: -Giant Microbe christmas tree ornaments -Portal 2 book-ends -Portal 2 coasters (the warning symbols, like Hard Light Bridge, Watch Out For Falling Weighted Cubes, Aerial Faith Plate, etc.) -A Big Bang Theory shirt (the rules for Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock) She also got me a fun card game, a lithograph of the original Star Wars movie poster, and some fun books. For the books, it was funny. The books were cheap (three for a dollar), and one was Star Wars. She didn't think I owned it, but figured it didn't matter, since it was 30 cents. Turned out it was a First Edition of Splinter of the Mind's Eye! I bought my wife a book she wanted, two tops from Smart Set, and a pair of games (we both love card- and board-games), and I made a Christmas tree ornament using a picture of us in Bern. Also, I wanted to get her tickets to West Side Story, but tickets aren't on sale till January 30. So I made an invitation (in the style of Dinosaur Comics, www.qwantz.com). I traced the picture from my PC monitor, since my printer was empty lol, and then filled it in by hand. "DATE NIGHT --- AS SHE IS PLAYED". (anyone who reads Dinosaur Comics will find it funny).
