Anyone else think that this guy was cool? I even think that since his death was offscreen that he may not be dead yet. He was a very developed character and they've done worse to bring back a character (Raynar Thul in the Dark Nest Trilogy). Thoughts?

For me, he was one of those characters you love to hate. I really don't see too much of any reason to bring him back. I'd rather have them introduce new Yuuzhan Vong characters than dredge up supposedly dead ones.

I enjoyed him because he tried hard but had such big failures and still lived to mess up again. As Troy Denning whould say, a character isn't dead until you see a corpse so maybe he is out there, but I hope he is in a more..."peaceful" place Very Happy

Peaceful?! YV? I thought their version of a positive afterlife was endless enemies to kill, no non-organic tech, and an endless expansionist opportunities. But then, maybe I am misinterpreting this Vong's "soft" side[/quote]

This is largely my opinion. He was a great character but just like with Dalaa suddenly coming back at the of LotF, I don't think it will good bringing him back. Let him remain in the stories he's already in. Considering how many Vong there were, I don't think it would be hard to come up with another villain to take his place in future stories.

He should be the next Chief of State of the Galactic Alliance.

I hate the idea of sounding like Threepio, but if that happens, everyone's "doomed".

If you're looking for more Nom, Nom Anor appears in Crimson Empire III.
