I, too, would like that, but I'm not sure if that would be a very good thing. Which is odd, because that's what I'd really like to see. I think maybe if they did a Young Reader series like YJK set during the Legacy of the Force series, to introduce a small bunch of young Jedi (which isn't likely to happen, since Del Rey may not want to revisit that era) and see their actions during that event, and then have a proper novel set after FOTJ, with the pre-established characters, and bring over, slowly, the new characters.
But, if they were to make a novel with completely new characters, then I'd prefer that there were no main characters in them whatsoever. This is because I believe that new characters that are introduced in stories with no pre-established character becomes more popular with the audience, and will thus be more likely to recur. _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
