Here you can post your favorite and/or funny character quotes from the different books of the EU. I always loved this thread on StarWars.com, so wanted to start it over here. I have way too many favorite funny quotes, but will start with some I recently read:

Zsinj merely blinked at him. His expression said, How nice that you have that problem. Now solve it.
"So we've found one of her relatives. The relative will make contact for us."
"A relative of Gara Petothel?"
"No, of Lara Notsil, the woman whose identity she took. The community where she grew up, New Oldtown--"
Zsinj shuddered. "Surely you're joking about that name."
"On Aldivy. It was blasted out of existence by Admiral Trigit when it refused to offer him supplies."
"You're sure he didn't destroy it because of that name."
"Since he's dead, I'll have trouble asking him. Anyway, one of the real Lara Notsil's siblings, from New Oldtown--"
"Don't ever say that name again. It annoys me."
"--returned home after spending months at a naval job under an assumed name. He was supposed to be serving time in a jail in his hometown-whose-name-is-nevermore-to-be-said."
~Warlord Zsinj and General Melvar - X-Wing: Iron Fist

And one more:

"...And I have a three-stage plan to let you get back to the way things used to be."
...
"Stage One." Wedge opened a comm channel on the co-pilot's control board. "YT-1300 to bridge. This is Commander Antilles. Please cut all lights in Bay Gamma One."
...
"Including the magcon shield indicator, please, bridge."
The rectangle of light around the magcon field faded. Now they sat in near-perfect darkness, illuminated only by the stars outside the field.
...
"That's nice," he [Han Solo] said. "I think you're right. I could use more of that. What's Stage Two?"
"Well, you're not the only member of the crew who could benefit from some blissful irresponsibility right now. So I'm going to stage an insurrection and seize control of Mon Remonda."
Solo gave a curt laugh. "Wedge Antilles, mutineer. That I have to see."
"Bring your Wookiee and I'll show you."
...
[cue 24 hour mutiny]
...
Solo and Wedge were among those who abandoned the last surviving card game. Solo rubbed tired eyes and said, "Not bad, man-who-looks-like-Wedge. What's Stage Three?"
Wedge gave him a smile he might have learned from a toothy Bothan. "In Stage Three, we track down Zsinj and blow him up."
"Good plan. I like it."
~Commander Wedge Antilles and General Han Solo - X-Wing: Solo Command

The X-Wing books have too many good quotes. Very Happy

Wedge reached up and pulled off the prostetic over his eye, then peeled the piece off his throat. "Ah, much better. And you recall mentioning that you'd killed plenty of Rogue Squadron members on Brentaal, and that Wedge Antilles would be back."
The man's [Colonel Lorrir] voice quaked: "Y-yes?"
"You were right. I'm Wedge Antilles. I'm back."
~Wedge Antilles and Colonel Lorrir - X-Wing: Isard's Revenge

Don't have the book right at hand, but it's close enough...

I think it might have been Fury but I died at this quote:

"Don't grab the glowy end." -Jagged Fel

It was just....perfect. No other word for it.

This one was in Bloodlines:
Boba Fett "I just killed your sleaze-bag cousin, Solo, show some gratitude!"
Yeah, I'm a fan of morbid humor Twisted Evil

Or from Yoda: Dark Rendezvous:(for us Yoda fans )
" Fidelis: "For you Master Yoda, a bowl of the bottom-feeder gumbo" Fidelis supplied a bowl of sticky, black, acrid stuff, with nameless pale blobs the color of tree lichen floating in it. It smelled extraordinarily like burning lubricant.
Yoda leaned over the bowl and snuffed. His eyes rolled up in pleasure. "Most excellent!"
........Master Yoda held up his bowl. "Asked the toaster to make this feast I did", nodding benevolently at Fidelis,....."

Nothing like eating at a table with Yoda, eating stuff right off of Fear Factor, to curb your appetite!

best one i can think of is from the clone wars novel:

anakin: listen youngling, stay out of the way and try not to get blown up
ashoka: i'm not a youngling, i'm 14!
captain rex: i'm ten, but i'm a little tall for my age.

Yeah, that one was great! I also liked reference to Vader, where Anakin said, "Impressive. Most impressive." Referring to something Ahsoka did, which I can't remember.

Well ok this one is my signature too but it is without a doubt one of my most favorite quotes:

Wedge was struck sideways by a blast of intense light; he stumbled, threw up his sleeve to block the glare.

"Sithspit! What's that?"
"That's the sun, Wedge. It's after dawn."
"Well, it offends me. Turn it off."
"It's a hundred thirty, hundred forty million klicks from here."
"Go up in your X-wing and shoot it down for me."

- Wedge and Janson, X-wing: Starfighters of Adumar

Oh, that's great! I'm reading that one right now. Haven't gotten to that part yet, though.

I remember reading that on the official forums once and I couldn't stop laughing for a few seconds. That is hilarious Laughing

That quote is just beautiful...I absolutely perfect. And a great reason on why the X-wing series is also amzing. Laughing

I couldn't help but like this one, especially since it was from a previously less humorous character:

Tomer looked at her, confused. "Where's your other head?"
She gave him a sorrowful look. "When I was walking around today, I met a young man who had no head. Just a stump that suggested he had a long, sad story to tell. But of course he couldn't, because he had no head. So I gave Whitecap to him. The man now has the voice and mannerisms of a 3PO unit, but they're better than nothing."
Tomer's mouth worked for a moment or two. Then he turned his glare back on Wedge. "There. Now you've corrupted her, too. That's what I came over to talk to you about. This has to stop."
~Tomer Darpin and Hallis Saper - X-Wing: Starfighters of Adumar

Starfighters of Adumar has to be the funniest Star Wars book to date. Allston and Stockpole both weave alot of humor into they're books.
