Welcome! It's so nice seeing a newbie to the Star Wars galaxy . Okay, so books to read next. Hmm. That depends on what era you like. You mention the Clone War era, so I'd recommend Shatterpoint and Yoda: Dark Rendezvous. Those two are part of a series, but the series itself is made up of standalones, so you can read one book and not feel at all lost and think that you're missing out on something because you haven't read the other books in the series. You might want to give Hard Contact a go. That's the first book in a series, and some like it, some don't, but I feel it's worthwhile to read this one book, and then see how you feel, if you like it or not.
As for post films, I cannot recommend highly enough the X-Wing books. _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. That doesn't mean I hate or love Lucas, or agree or disagree 100% with him. That doesn't mean I prefer the PT over the OT, or vice versa. That doesn't mean I hate the EU, or even love all of it. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
