I can remember the first time I saw Star Wars, I was either 5 or 6, and it was Return of the Jedi at a neighbor's house, but all I think I saw was the Jabba's palace portion and I recall being afraid of Jabba and the other aliens.
The original Star Wars was the last one that I saw, because I remember I was at my best friend's house when I was in 1st grade and we started watching it because I'd never seen it, and I think we got to the point where Owen and Beru are killed. And I wasn't enjoying it because I was accustomed to Luke being a hero, not a farmboy.
And back then the copies I saw were all the VHS 1990 release that have the promo:

so I'd seen The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi a lot before I'd seen Star Wars, but in this promo there are a lot of scenes in the original that I'd never seen, and I remember always being enthralled when it showed the Mos Eisley cantina with the Arcona popping his head up.
And my cousin, who is three years older than me, had seen them all and was a big Boba Fett fan so I was too. And I saw Heir to the Empire in his room one day which resulted in me getting The Glove of Darth Vader, which wasn't bad because I was like seven years old. But then I moved onto the Thrawn trilogy and Dark Empire. _________________ "Trust not the words of a poet, as he is born to seduce.
