IN-GA being destroyed was kind of out of left field, but it felt like a James Bond movie (which was the point). There was sex with a high ranking woman who was then killed, a ridiculous villain, and he got to bed the girl while his driver ignored it up front in the pilot's seat. They wanted to re-create Bond, they kinda got it.

I thought killing IN-GA (though did they really kill her? they certainly left her behind...) was an interesting move. She was a neat character for a droid, and killing her had a bit of weight to it. Looking forward, it's definitely going to create some fun scenes between Jahan and Isard. I also think it was very faithful to Jahan's character. It seemed fitting making him choose his duty of his other feelings.
