I've never subscribed to Hyperspace, but I am thinking about it these days. Based on postings I see, there seem to be A TON of short stories and other rare/old expanded universe materials for subscribers.

What do you all think? Is it worth the money? What rare EU stuff do they have? Is it just stories from SW Adventure Journal and other RPG materials?

Appreciate any feedback!

Well, a few months ago they started dishing out a bunch of new stories; John Jackson Miller had one to lead it off. They do have an archive of webstrips as well, which is cool. Being a Hyperspace member also gives you access to the blogs and Hyperspace forum, For 14.00, I'd say it's worth a try.

Welcome to EUC, by the way, leesweinberg

Wouldn't you know, I subscribed for one year and never saw one short story. Now they decide to start pumping them out again...

Beyond the short stories, they do provide a lot of news and interviews with the authors, plus behind the scenes stuff.

Not worth it. Especially to a penny pincher like myself. Sure, short stories and stuff are great, but they're not real relevant to anything else going on in the EU. And the news, well, I think you'd get better news going to TFN or EUC.

Go and spend you're fifteen dollars on five comic books; you're getting more for you're money that way!

So is that $14 a month? I don't think I could shell that out with a clear conscience. Money and I don't seem to get along too well...

It's 14.95 a year, if I'm not totally mistaken.
