So I read an advance copy of this. Its has some information and some character development/introduction but no real action this time around. I dunno what its building to though, that's the rough part. Still, its good and its nice to see Zayne.

That's how I understood it from what was said in #1. He's basically forced into service while arriving on Phaeda.

I think this will be less exciting than Legacy War. Zayne's story had reached a happy ending and yes, there were a lot of other places in the Mandalorian wars they could have gone but personally I would have left this one alone. The first issue was ok, this one is interesting, but they're 2/5 in and its still only mildly catching my interest.

I can't really comment on that yet (I hope to get my copy next week), but after having read #1 I understand what you mean.

Out of curiosity, how did you get an advanced copy?

Got a friend in a comic shop. We aren't that close but if I'm in at the right time and something cool Star Wars related is available he lets me read it. I didn't get a hard copy of my own, that's tomorrow, but I did get to read the issue.

Am I correct in understanding that this issue isn't out yet (or out very recently)? I got my copy on the tail end of last week Confused

KOTOR #2 came out last Wed, so it's out and about.

I read #3 and I have to say this is my favorite issue so far in this arc. The art looks a lot better and I like what JJM did with the story and character backgrounds. It worked really well.

Plus, there's some familiar faces I enjoyed seeing Cool

That 'familiar face' excited me! The characters that were always with Zayne are the ones that helped make the story amazing, I was waiting for them to show up. Hopefully they will in the last 2 issues. This was definitely the best one though Smile

@Caedus: I doubt they'll be showing up again in the other two issues. I think JJM was just giving them a shout out. He mentioned in his production notes for #3 that he wanted to show that Zayne was going to be on his own on this one. It's sorta like his Jedi Trial.

Just finished the final issue and that was a giant waste of time. Nothing really happened.

Well I'm one of those people who loved it. I thought it was a great transition story for Zayne. He went from being the runner to becoming more mature and responsible. It's like he finally found his place. I'm hoping this is the beginning of something and not an ending. If it was meant to be a wrap up, then it fell short. If it was meant to start a new era for Zayne, then I say it was a success. Thanks for another great story JJM.
