General purpose thread for cool Star Wars figures that you come across, whether new, vintage, or custom.

To kick things off, I came across this really cool custom Ziro the Hutt figure.

They did a really nice job for just painting an existing figure. Link

Some cool ones that I've ran across are:

TPM-VC2012: Darth Sidious (of course) Very Happy

R2D2-Kenner-'95 or '96. Has a hole in the top of the dome covered by a thin piece of blue plastic, when light shines on the hole his optical lense 'glows'

Unknown R2 unit-Kenner '90s-has orange markings. His dome is transparent so that you can see all the gizmos inside of it.

Goofy as Darth Vader-This one is a Star Wars tie-in that I bought at Walt Disney World.

Jedi Mickey Mouse-same as above

here's a few random pieces of the collection taken with my phone.

Bossk drives a Y-Wing.

Wampa and Rancor hold hands. They're buddies!

Hahaha! Wampa and Rancor holding hands...that's a good one. Laughing

I just realized I don't have a vintage Y-Wing. Now I kind of want one.

A better question would be: why does the vonduun crab armour look like a Batman suit? Instead of, you know, crabs.

He looks like Batman, yes, but its better than the other Vong figure we have out. That one had a suit that looked completely mechanical. This looks closer to his armor from Crimson Empire.

I don't really have all too much in the way of SW merch aside from books (and my much-loved R2-D2 laundry hamper), but Kotobukiya is releasing a Jaino Solo statue later this year that I already want badly. No actual images yet, but the concept art is pretty gorgeous.

Leia O: I saw that Jaina a long time ago and was wondering what was happening with that, you should keep up posted.

here's a couple customizers I follow on FB that do amazing work:

Sith-Fire30 Creations

Stronox Custom Figures

Update!

BBTS just today released an image of the actual Jaina figure. It's so pretty! Thought I would share for any of you interested. Click on the [link] to see!

The face is a little too ... anime for my liking, but in general it looks pretty good.

I'm slightly boggled by how far apart her breasts are - they're practically under her armpits.

Bahahaha. Didn't even notice that one. Someone else pointed out the logo mistake on her helmet, as well. Ah, well. It's a pretty nice statue all the same.
