The phrasing in that link makes me smile Laughing .

I really like these. Specifically the stormtroopers ones. There's something about them that I find appealing. Sort of a realistic yet fantasy feel, like I'm looking at a real scene with blurred vision brought on by a too close mortar blast. It's a tough call, between the stormtrooper/Y-Wing and the stormtrooper attacking a village one, but I think the Y-Wing one wins out. Eep. Try saying that three times fast.

That's simply stunning, Life!

On his Facebook page, Chris Trevas posted two Star Wars Galaxy 7 series cards:

Wow, those are both amazing! And is that Qui-Gon in the back of the Dagobah one? Cause that's a nice touch. Smile

I completely missed Qui Gon. Nice catch! And nice find, DLE! I'm reading Before The Storm, which has both Lando and Lobot, so I particularly enjoyed seeing the Lando one.

Here's what Chris Trevas said about Qui-Gon (via):

Quote:
I tried really hard to balance Qui-Gon with the background - I didn't want him too obvious. If he was a Force ghost it would have been easier. this was my way of drawing him as a disembodied voice Wink

Good eye, Mara! Smile

He answered a fan's comment on the Lando/Vader image (via):

Quote:
It was definitely intentional for this to tie-in with The Hunter and His Prey (both are available in this card set, This is card 24 and Fett is 5Cool. They both also take place on landing platforms. This really takes place near Vader's shuttle, but I didn't have room in the background. I wanted to show the city at night because it seems no one had ever done it before. I also really wanted to include the Imperial landing craft and TIE escort to explain how the troops arrived.

Here's the "The Hunter and His Prey" CV print:

That's really cool! I've always wanted the post-RotJ era to be more illustrated than it has been. It's so cool to finally see the Stealth-X's and the Anakin Solo.

I know its funny, I was on a thread where we were discussing the stealth Xs and XJs. Its interesting how we interpret the descriptions in our head from the written word.
