OK so the apprentice survives falling in space, then survives the attack on Corellia. I guessed the apprentice was a clone after getting beaten and falling inot space, but after the attack on Coreilla what gives?! If he was a cyborg then he would not be able to use lightning. So what did they do to him at the lab? Make a super clone?

But now I'm also wondering what's up with him being 'rebuilt'. So what was he, exactly? I thought they were going to reveal that at the end, but alas...

Did you two ever see the SW.com interview with James Luceno when they asked him about Darth Vader using Force lightning with the book Rise of the Dark Lord? I'm sure they were joking but even a cyborg could use lightning, but it would need to be expertly handled to prevent shorting yourself. I just read the graphic novel and wondered about him being rebuilt too but don't know what they did. Put in new lungs? *shrugs*

The graphic novel didn't really go in-depth explaining much. I think the story translates into book form alot better than into comic form.

As for the Apprentice surviving in space? I'm sure we'll hear some bizzare explaination like Vader pulled air molecules into a sphere of breathable air around the Apprentice after he shoved him into space.

Well okay...what kind of damage would hard vacuum cause that would need to be totally rebuilt? Because for the most part he seemed to be his original self that could still be harmed and bleed. So that's why I'm confused as to what 'rebuilt' meant. Is this some new technology Vader has under wraps? Or yeah, could it be a clone?

Well... vacuum causes rapid decompression that pretty much would kill any normal person very quickley. But he is a force user. And were they in vacuum or atmosphere? Could they have been somewhere like Bespin?
