Funnily enough, despite it not being my favourite of the Saga, RotJ has my favourite things in the entire Galaxy; Imperial Guards, Tatooine, Jabba the Hutt, and Jabba's Palace.

Now that I think about it, I may have been a little harsh on Ep VI; as I have stated many times before, I think it gets pretty dry after they leave Tatooine (ironically). However, the only bits I don't like are the Endor bits. I like all the talky bits up in the Death Star II though. I'm not a big fan of army-on-army battles, but I like duels and verbal conflicts and stuff.

One of the great images of ROTJ is when Luke is hiding from Vader. One half of his face is light the other dark which symbolises his inner conflict between light and dark.

My favorite SW movie would have to be ROTJ. It has the most emotional and tense lightsabre fight. An awesome space battle between the Empire and the Rebels and who can forget the cute and cuddly Ewoks!!

A New Hope. Definitely. It's just simple, classic Star Wars. Need I say more?

Wow, to pick one movie out of all six? Almost impossible if it wasn't for the epic Anakin-Obi-Wan fight at the end of ROTS. That was amazing.
And unlike all the other people I didn't think AOTC was as bad as everyone implies. I thought it was actually sweet, we see the other side of Anakin come out. But to tell the truth each movie had its awesome and crappy times (we're looking at you fireplace scene).

But if I have to put it in order from best to worst it would be:

1.Revenge of the Sith (for the music and lightsaber battles)
2.Return of the Jedi (the amazing battle between Luke and Vader)
3.Empire Strikes Back ("No, I'm your father." Do I need to say more?)
4.The Phantom Menace (Darth Maul lightsaber fight)
5.Attack of the Clones (Coruscant chase scene)
6.A New Hope (Honestly didn't impress me that much, except for Vader of course!)

Uh...yeah. I didn't like ANH that much. I know they didn't have a lot of technology at that time and couldn't do very much but the lightsaber battle sucked and the computer graphics wasn't really that realistic, kind of corny I must say.
The only things that made it worth the watch was Han Solo and Vader.

Ps:@Mara I take it you're REALLY not an AotC fan? Smile

If I had to rank all six saga movies, I would say 5-4-2-6-1-3.

Yes, I put Revenge of the Sith at the bottom. Granted, it's still really good. Like a 7.5/10. But it wasn't my favourite. Because there were specific things that it needed to tell (the fall of the Republic, the end of the Clone Wars, the rise of the Empire, the fall of Anakin, etc.), it felt less like a movie and more like a re-telling of historical events. Like historical fiction (but for a fictitious universe).

Now, the ROTS novel was probably my favourite SW novel.

@JainaSolo: What order did you watch the movies in? I watched ANH, ESB, RotJ, AotC, TPM, and lastly RotS in theatres. ANH will always be dear to my heart because it was the first Star Wars movie I ever saw (among many other reasons).

My ranking would be:
1. ESB
2. ANH
3. RotJ
4. RotS
5. AotC
6. TPM

I read not too long ago a great idea about the order in which to watch the movies:

4-5-1-2-3-6

That way, the revelation that Vader is Luke's father is not spoiled by the prequels, and you still end on a positive note.
