I also wondered, if Talzin had a lock of his hair, and could (supposedly - because I doubt she had the capacity to do so, and was just pretending she could to get him to call off his soldiers) kill him - why did she send those assassins to kill him in the previous episodes? Very shaky logic.

I can't remember, but was the assassination attempt before or after Dooku visited Dathomir? If it was before, that would explain why Talzin didn't have Dooku's hair.

Ventress is on her way to becoming a Jedi? I'm not sure what else they could do with her.

Oh please don't let Ventress become a Jedi...She's already teaming up with them at the end of the season to fight Dooku, but they've trodded on enough story here, can't we leave her alone...

I actually don't know what becomes of Ventress. I wouldn't mind being spoiled as I doubt I'll read the Republic comics anyway.

Well Obi-Wan began to realize that she would never be Sith, and instead was just bitter. He therefore took it upon himself to redeem her and spent a lot of his interactions with her trying. He never really got more than a foot in the door but then they fought on Boz Pity. The fight was brutal and eventually she got betrayed by Dooku and a Magna-Guard was ordered to shoot her. She died in Kenobi's arms. She was loaded onto a shuttle to be removed for burial but she had gone into a Sith Trance and faked her death. She commandeered the shuttle and had them take her far away from the war and both the Confederacy and the Republic. It is thought that she left for the Unknown Regions.

I also can't remember, but I think there were two assassination attempts and the previous episodes, and I think the visit was after the first, and before the second. I'm pretty sure the Nightsisters took a lock of his hair in the first attempt - in the fight between several Nightsisters and Dooku - instead of the second - the threeway fight between Dooku, Savage and thingymawhootsit. I was wondering why they didn't just use the voodoo on him then. I'm going to have to look for and watch the episode online, since I can't be absolutely positive.

EDIT: I just watched the two fight scenes, and neither show an instance where a lock of Dooku's hair is collected, so they may have taken it when he visited Dathomir. But I didn't watch that scene, so I don't know. If they did, then that makes the second attempt superfluous.
