Oh, yes. I see what you mean. It is very broken in Firefox and IE. It is still working in Chrome, thus I don't believe anyone has noticed. No worries, the Powers That Be will look into it shortly, I'm sure. Smile

One can only hope. Wink
I'm not using Chrome myself. I feel like having two browers is more than enough for me already Smile

Well I'll drop in and remind somebody if nobody notices it by the time I get home. Thanks for letting us know. Smile

Just thought I should pop by. I use Chrome, yet the same thing is happening to me.

Is anyone still having the issue? I think I fixed it, but please let me know if the problem still remains on your end.

Whenever I send a private message, it sets that as my last visit, so my "posts since your last visit" resets. Does anyone else have this? It's not a huge problem, as I just have to wait until I've read all of the posts before I reply to a PM, but the first time it happened, I thought it was a glitch, but it's happened two or three times now.

I haven't had that problem with PMs (not that I send many) but I do have an similar issue logging in. After logging in as soon as a select a subforum or thread I get logged out and have to log back in. Naturally that means that posts since my last visit gets cleared. This log in/log out issue only happens on this website.

Maybe your PM problem and mine are different issues all together but maybe there is some common code we're both somehow tripping to cause the issue.

Out of curiosity what browser do you use? I use Chrome so it'd be interesting to see if the problems are possibly browser related.

I'm on Safari. And I don't normally send PM's, but just sent some recently.

I've never had either of the problems mentioned. I also use Chrome, so I'm not sure what is causing the issue for Salaris, but it could be a browser problem for you, Dannik.

There appears to be a broken link on the main page. Interview with Steve Perry and Michael Reaves.

If you click on "here" it doesn't go anywhere.

I also have this problem, and it's only in Chrome. Only reason I still use IE, for the forums. Not sure what's up with Chrome, but it only seems to be a problem for some people. I wonder if the difference might be the Mac version of Chrome versus the Windows version of Chrome for those that work and those that don't.

Maybe if everyone could post what they use and whether or not they have the issue, we might find a trend.

In that case, I use Chrome on a Windows laptop. Beyond Chrome crashing once or twice, I've not had a problem with Post Count resets.

Aargh! Just had this! I was writing a reply, and took a while to do it, and when I posted it, it set my last visit to when I started the post! It reset from 35 to 0! Now I begin rummaging through each forum.
