I wouldn't blame the series for this abomination of a sketchcard, this is Topps fault for letting this kind of artwork get printed instead of sending the artist home and throwing that picture away.
The one who drew that should be very ashamed of his- or herself as should Topps for selling it. It's horrible. It looks like a nine year old kid has drawn a ghost.
There most be fanart out there depicting Abeloth way better than this piece of crap. 
Also to the guys at Wookieepedia, if that's the only "official" picture you can find of her you might as well not post any picture at all.
