Disney has classified "John Carter" as a flop after only 10 days. Confused

Immortals, anyone?

I'm getting a very Clash of the Titans vibe off of it. I don't think that's a good thing.

Clash/Wrath of the Titans, Immortals, and John Carter are all the same movie in my head.

I agree. Except maybe not with John Carter, from what very little information I have, it looks like more of an alien/sci fi/time travel flick.

Clash was a bad movie. It was a remake of a bad movie. Wrath looks better.

John Carter is a sci-fi book from way back that was ruined in a movie. All bad movies, but slightly different. The immortals was awful.

I don't plan on seeing any of these, except for John Carter. And that's only because of the director.

I happened to like Clash of the Titans (the new one). The old one was campy fun. I'm tempted to see Wrath of the Titans. Looks like the story could be good.

And by the way, John Carter is nothing like those movies above. There's a huge difference between late 1800's America/Mars Sci-Fi and old Greek god movies.

I think they see the similarity with John Carter as stylized, over-excessive action sequences with lots of CGI. And I wanna see Wrath to, it looks pretty sick.

Chris Evan's pectorals couldn't stop me from turning off Captain America. The flick was downright cartoonish after seeing Watchmen.

Exactly, I know little about the plots, but they all just look the same visually.

Everything's cartoonish after Watchmen. Wink

Well, just re-watched Anchorman. I can safely say it's the funniest movie I've seen in a while. Absolutely loved it!

I loved the whole no-rules thing they had going on, and I feel I would have found the movie much funnier if I was alive during the seventies, but I still loved it. The bit where they're being all happy-smiley after the report while threatening each other Laughing And the random barbershop quartet moment!

I LOVED HUNGER GAMES!

Very close to the book. A few little things are different (either to tell the story better, because in the book they took place in Katniss's head, or they were small and chose to omit it).

BUT SO GOOD!
