Oh dear sweet Lord. Wink

*Snorts* I'd forgotten about that line. Padme, I think you're getting those feelings because you can see the future, and you know we will run with it. Vorn, after you, good sir! Laughing

Y'know, I'd do it, but I don't think my character could reach. Wink

Having a boat during the zombie apocalypse could be a very good idea. You could avoid the highways and the zombies and have a source of food and water.

As for avoiding the gun store, I have that covered. Wink

*facepalm* Boys. Wink

Good for you for recognizing my psychic powers, though.

At least we're consistent. Wink

And the deed has been done. You're welcome Padme', I know you were waiting with baited breath for the ball(s) to get rolling. Wink

Rolling Eyes Oh, well. Might as well go with it. Wink

Survival Scenario: one of your friends is hopelessly surrounded by zombies. Do you rescue them at near certain doom for yourself...or leave them behind?

That is a toughie. My first instinct is to wade in and help them, though I suppose I should really listen to my brain in that scenario and end my friend's life with a (hopefully) well aimed headshot.

Also: saw the post. Absolutely brilliant Laughing

Thanks Life!

As for Skul's question: it would depend on the scenario. Is the friend performing an act of self-sacrifice to allow the rest of the group to escape? (they don't need or want rescuing) Or did they just have great misfortune to fall behind? Of course it all depends on whether they've already gotten into melee combat in which case it might already be too late (no point rescuing them if they're already overwhelmed and the more merciful thing is to put a bullet in their head).

Assuming for the moment that they aren't in melee combat yet and that it is the latter scenario my loyalty instinct would take priority over the instinct of self preservation. Particularly in the case of it only being the two of us. In that case the danger of rescuing them might be outweighed by the benefit of having someone to watch your back (take shifts during sleeping etc). Overall I'd rather go down fighting beside a friend then go down by myself.
