Lucas announces retirement from blockbuster films, though he hasn't completely ruled out IJ5:

No more 'Star Wars' films:

Has he even done anything since Star Wars?

Director wise, no. Producer wise there was Indy (also writer) and now Red Tails.

Sounds like he's opting to finally do those small budget movies he's talked about doing.

Wasnt he connected to that dreadful film Howard The Duck? Hes easily in his late sixties. He has an empire to run as well. His time must be all used up.[/code]

I wish he would retire from TCW show too. Sorry guys. I'm just tired of the EU taking punches. I loved Star Wars the most when he stepped away and the EU filled the gaps. There are SOME great episodes, but for the most part I hate the show.

Im going to say Im not too hung up on the Clone wars. Even season 4 finale with Maul wasnt great. Not sure if this was become of Georges involvement or not?

They should not have brought Maul back. He spoke too much. Maul was at his best when he said little.
