The best languages are the ones with fewer words. Much easier to understand. I mean, look at binary: one, zero. That's it. Great language. Laughing

In binary, 0 and 1 aren't words. They're letters. There's technically an infinite number of words, since there's infinite ways to combine 0 and 1.

I'm trying to determine the robustness of Mando'a by translating various things from English into Mando'a, but the grammar is kicking my sweet tushie. I've been out of school too long. I can't even remember what a terminal vowel is (among other things) Confused .

EDIT: Further to this - inspired by Dha Werda Verda, I decided to translate Ka Mate (along with leader commands). My grammar is quite atrocious, and some words I couldn't find and had to repurpose other ones (which is actually in keeping with the Mandos in general), I was able to do it.

It does need expanding, of course, but I think it's viable as a language, as is.

I can read Aurebesh but not any of the other SW languages. I'd love to see a dictionary of Cheunth.

I can read Aurebesh, but slowly. Scenes in TCW series for instance usually change to fast for me to read the Aurebesh signs in the back.
Most of my knowledge of Huttese comes from the Legacy comic.
I don't even try to bother with Mando'a. Smile
