Well hope you enjoy the space combat there (if you like piloting). I'll pass on a neat trick I learned for times when you are playing chicken: if you time firing your missiles on the interceptor class fighters to occur a half-second before an evasive role you can shoot down an enemy fighter almost every time while escaping any in bound missiles (I tested it and it used to work most of the time in online matches too).

Oh and one thing: in single player mode avoid headshots with the sniper rifle! Do them enough and you get a permanent "award" sniper rifle that has a bug that prevents you from getting headshots on enemies in turrets (and since they're in turrets you can't get a torso shot). Not using headshots isn't a big problem though because once you get the damager booster a regular sniper rifle shot in the torso will 1 shot everything except the anti-armor class (and maybe Destroy Droids). Because of the wacky way they do weapons in BFII the upgrade automatically replaces the regular weapon when you switch to your sidearm meaning if you get stuck with the "award" sniper rifle permanently unlocked you can't switch to your sidearm without unequiping your regular sniper rifle.

Beyond that the other weapon upgrades are fine and bug free.

Wow why does no one post on these anymore? BFII is not a game that should be forgotten.

I still play BF2 from time to time, but what's really left to say? Wink

I just played SWBFII again at my friend's house. We did a Republic Galactic Conquest in one sitting and absolutely creamed the CIS 26-0. Yes, I kept track... Wink
