The three books (Fatal Alliance, Deceived, and Revan) are in no way connected, so the reading order matters not.
I personally loved Fatal Alliance. Although it sometimes read like it was intentionally trying to portray all eight classes in TOR (Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular, Smuggler, Trooper, Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter, and Imperial Agent), I thought the story was really cool. Kept me interested the whole time. Plus the book is a decent size, which was less common a couple of years ago.
Deceived was great and densely packed with adventure.
Revan was fun too, but my least favourite of the three. It was made to bridge the events of KOTOR (1 and 2) and TOR, but I personally feel that was unnecessary. That said, I understand it serves as a prequel to some of the Class stories of TOR (specifically the Jedi Knight one). _________________ It was the year of fire… the year of destruction… the year we took back what was ours.
It was the year of rebirth… the year of great sadness… the year of pain… and the year of joy.
It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed.
The year is 2261.
The place: Babylon 5.
