Hey guys, I'm new around these parts, at least as a poster. I don't see myself saying all too much since I'm a habitual lurker, but I got tired of not knowing where I left off in threads as a guest, so I thought I'd make an account. And since I made an account, I may as well make an introduction.

I started with SW in the mid-90s when my mom rented the OT for me when I was home sick with a terrible flu. When my grandfather found out how much I loved it, he started getting me into the EU and I started reading the old Bantam novels like crazy. In the many years since, my presence in the fandom has waxed and waned, but I've been on a high note for the past year; getting caught up on all the novels I missed and generally having a grand old time back in my favourite galaxy. I'm mostly a novels girl, but I do love the movies, and I dabble in comics and role-playing (played both the old d6 and Saga).

Outside of the land far, far away, I live in the Chicago area and spend most of my non-work time reading, writing and mucking around on the interwebs.
