I finally watched captain america at weekend and it was ok, i didnt enjoy it as much as i thought i would, also watched Hulk (eric bana) aswell which wasnt really that good either.

I caught part of the Marvel Weekedn epicx did, so I watched Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America on Sunday. Good primer for The Avengers. It was the first time I'd seen Thor and Captain America. I actually like Thor better. There was some good humor in it. Parts of Captain America were a little weird (like the bond thing, and Red Skull looked a little goofy, like a red version of Jim Carrey's The Mask).

I preferred Thor to captain America aswell. Cant wait to go watch The Avengers now, has anyone on here seen it yet?

Watched Insomnia last night. Robin Williams needs to be in more serious roles. He was the star of this film, not Al Pacino and Hilary Swank. The ending didn't surprise me, but I enjoyed Insomnia overall. I'm gonna watch Prestige next. Eventually, I'll get around to watching the Batman movies...

Oh my gosh, THE AVENGERS!! What a truly great movie. I need to see it again! It didn't just live up to the hype, it lived up to the OVERhype! It was just too great.

Can''t wait to see The Avengers next week.

The Lion King is on! I have the DVD, but will watch it any time it's on TV.

Did Imax 3D for the Avengers and it...was...epic! Hulk took the spotlight!

I watched Dawn of the Dead last night. Not all of it; I started 20 minutes in, and stopped an hour before the end and recorded the rest.

The thing is, the zombies up close weren't very scary, but when they were in the helicopter over that deserted shopping centre and there were some of them stumbling about, that gave me the heebie jeebies. Unfortunately, I missed the beginning, so I had no idea where they were going or what they were doing.

TBH, later zombie movies tend to be better, as they have scarier zombies, and experiment more, either with what the zombies are/can do, and the different sociological takes on what would happen in this case of a zombie apocalypse.

Watched Avengers last night. SO GOOD.

I have nothing bad to say.

Also, I've read some of the old Avengers books (including Avengers #1 from 1963). There are a lot of fun references and throw-backs.

Also, The Ultimates was one of my favourite graphic novels, and there were some fun refs there. I love it.

The 3D was great. I saw it in Real-D 3D. Totally worth it.

Advice for everyone: there are two post-credit scenes. One during the credits, and one at the very very end. My theatre raised the lights, so a lot of people left before the last one.

I'm going to see The Avengers soon. I've only seen the two Iron Man movies of the Avengers line-up. How much of a problem will this be?
