I think you're really over-thinking this, DH. Sometimes a duck really is a duck.

Possibly. But given that every other appearance shows the individuals in question to be at the place in question. Even the ones occuring mere months before. It seems unlikely they'd suddenly up and move, only to come back later. *shrug*

Not to say I haven't been wrong before. Just my take on it.

From our UPDATED Jennifer Heddle interview:

After waiting for six months I finally got this book from the library.

It was S***!

It should have been called Star Wars: Dark Nest 4.

Get your stupid Joiner crap out of here T-Den, this is supposed to be FOTJ!

and it wasn't just that the story was crap, it was one of the worst written books I've seen. The part with Luke in the lake of ghostly crap was like bad fan-fic.

Listen to this line: "Because Love is pain... and pain makes Sith strong." probably the worst offender of many that had me groaning.

It craps on Mortis, it craps on Legacy comics, and it craps on LOTF yet again. The first ret-cons were too ambiguous for you? Better spell it out just to make sure you get it. It's not just limited to other material too, that was the whole vehicle for advancing the plot: Have a character say out loud what the story is trying to get across.

and it had everything that I hated about the FOTJ series.

Boba Fett is back... again... for no reason... and he doesn't do much of anything. Gee, why didn't they just put him on the cover again?

and worst of all Vestara is yo-yoing up until the last freakin page. Was that part of the series plan, that she must switch sides a minimum of four times per novel? I'm surprised they didn't have Jaina and Jag break up and get back together two or three more times as well, just to keep up the suspense, ya know.

I thought the book was written well enough, but the plot was pretty bad. And agreed, I didn't like Luke's fight in the Lake. It, along with Vestara's flip-flopping, were my least favorite parts of the book. But again, the plot was so thrown together, not sure how they were happy with it, themselves. There were several directions they were headed back in Outcast and Omen and such that they completely abandoned. Neutral

And yet they keep claiming that they had some of this planned since LotF...funny how when they botch something they scramble to pretend it was the plan all along, isn't it?
