Here's my concern on that front:

One of the points of this Tales From The project was that the stories could be, in theory, canonical and published. Not that it will be, but it should be able to be. We really don't have the right to speculate in a never-before-seen era like that.

I know, I was just stating that only under that term would I do a post-FotJ story. Laughing

They might get published.

Sorry I haven't been posting; been away all week for work.

Del Rey doesn't accept Star Wars manuscripts. They invite you to write, you can't ask to write.

Sue Rostoni went into all the details of this sort of thing in the old Official Site forums.

Jason Fry mentioned this in Part 6 of his endnotes and I thought it was worth mentioning.

Quote:
Banking Clan Frigate: I like the idea of Banking Clan space stations outside of the galactic disk, with secret vaults and shipyards. I bet the locations of some of them were lost after the Clone Wars, and they’re still out there, waiting for someone to find them and stumble upon a wealth of credits and war materiel. That would make for a cool story, right?

Would be awesome to incorporate that idea into a story.

A way we connect with each other...and I guess thats why I do toys. That connection." -Ashley Wood

If Thrawn, Pellaeon, Daala, or Parcke stumbled on them, that would make an interesting story. Or if a group of Hutts found a secret vault. Maybe the Rebel Alliance?
