Yay! Let the speculation begin... Let's just hope it's not somthing like a novel adaption of the comics.

Perhaps a lead-in to the first game? Maybe present all the characters in their own setting before we ever met them? *shrugs* I have no idea.

I actually wouldn't mind if it was based on the comics since I haven't read them. Otherwise, I'm hoping it will be about Revan and Malak.

I don't think they can do much with Reven and Malak, because they'll be doing they're story soon in the comics.

Well I've fallen behind in my reading of the comics so I'm not sure what gaps they want to fill with this novel. The game picks up after Revan is captured, the comics, from what I read, where still set in the Mandalorian Wars, not the Jedi Civil War that followed. So perhaps this book will cover the Jedi Civil War, Revan and Malak's relationship, and the Jedi and Admirals at this time. I wouldn't mind if it focused solely on Revan and Malak however.

Yes, that would be cool. I've always wanted to get in their heads before they found the Star Forge.

I'd like to see more of Krynda, Haazan, the Jedi Covenant and the prophecies. I think that would make for a very cool book. Maybe Lucien's father could be in it.

Aside from Darth Bane, anything before Episode 1 befuddles me. It would be nice if they had it all consised to a couple of book series'.

It shouldn't really be befuddling. There's a comic series, which has five paperbacks out that you can read, and there's two games.

But I agree, it would definatly help the era consolodate a little by putting in some books.

You mean TPBs? I've been trying to get my hands on the KOTOR comics and such. Didn't realize there were TPBs. Ah! Now I must go search them out. Smile

I am only vaguely familiar with this area through some comics (never played KOTOR), so I am excited to get more material during this period to read.
