I think it's more than likely that there'll be some sort of military conflict, but I don't think Iran is a threat. As of 2008, their military budget was over $9 billion. Compared to Australia's $19 billion. Now, they do have a large army, and can call upon more reservists, yes, but it's a volunteer militia, with basic equipment and minimal training, and even the Iranians say that they couldn't win in a straight up fight between them and a big hitter, like the UK, US, France or Germany. Or the Netherlands. Their military strategy is based on deterrent. If it came down to a proper fight, they'd lose rather quickly, and would fall back on guerilla tactics. _________________ I am a Star Wars fan. That doesn't mean that I hate or love Jar Jar. These are not prerequisites. Being a man is not a prerequisite. Being a geek is not a prerequisite. The only prerequisite is that I love something about Star Wars. I am a Star Wars fan.
