Heh, no I'm just living at home right now. Personally, I have no desire to 'go out on my own.' I'm doing just fine, thank you very much. Besides, it's free, and as you said, the food's great. That's definitely a perk. Very Happy

I am still in highschool. Hence, I do not own my own house yet. I do plan to move out and get an apartment during and after college.

I'm also in highschool and I don't intend on living in the basement.

Surprised Wow, all you guys made me feel old....high school was 15 years ago, moving out from mom and dad's was 13 years ago, and my son will start high school next year. All I can say is.. enjoy it, believe it or not, you will miss it some days in your future. And with that, the old man bows out! Smile

Yes Jedipoodoo, you are old, but Wookiees live a long time so in Wookiee years you are still young. As for me, my Mom doesn't have a basement in her house and my dad's house does. However I do not plan on moving into that basement anytime soon. I much prefer living in the 'above ground' world. Light is healthy.

The basement? Nah, I won't live there. But I will have a podcast studio thing there. When I move, that is. No basements in Florida.

Strangely, I am sure my parents would love for my wife, 2 cats, and dog to move into the basement of her house (I am not joking).

Seriously though, one of the best feelings of accomplishment is moving out and supporting yourself. However, enjoy being at home while you can! Smile

So ur saying life will start making sense when I move out on my own??....
Cool looking frward to it---but I still think the basement required minimum risks---World=cruel,strange,dangerous....hehe---

Oh I am not saying life will start making sense! Smile

But its a stepping stone, a confidence builder.

I really can't see why someone would want to live in their parent's basement... Neutral

No basements on Florida but I live at home and enjoy it. Free food and a roof over my head, I plan on staying at home for awhile.
