If you rewatch it all Marshall and Lily haven't been called "Aunt" or "Uncle" in YEARS. Like, since season 1. However, Barney and Robin are called that all the time. With the season 7 revelation of Robin as Barney's bride (still pissed about that btw) this would show that Barney and Robin marry, but why are they "Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney"? This has to do with season 6's arc with Barney's father. When Barney sits down to that awkward and messed up dinner with his dad's family it is mentioned that while J.J. is the only other of his kids present there is an older daughter not much younger than Barney who is away at college (it is not mentioned where, nor is she named). This would mean that Barney has a half-sister who is an eligible candidate for Ted's wife. She could easily have been in the class he tried teaching on accident (as we know the mother was) and her age would set her as an appropriate roommate for Cindy (the girl who was rooming with the mother when he saw her ankle) and could have been out in New York for St. Patty's day when he jacked her umbrella. And it would also easily explain why Barney and Robin are always referred to as "Aunt" and "Uncle" while Lily and Marshall have been demoted to just their names for most of the time. Barney and Robin are consistently referred to that way because they are actually related to Ted through marriage making them the children's blood relatives while Marshall and Lily are not. Tada

I'm disappointed in Klaus. He's only been two episodes so far, but with all the hype about the oldest vampire in existence, I expected more than a bungled body snatch. Matt Davis (Alaric Saltzman) doesn't have the acting chops to pull it off. His Russian accent comes and mostly goes. His mannerisms are unchanged. Like I said before, it's only been two episodes so I'm hoping Klaus wows me later.

At first, I really didn't like the idea of Caroline the Vampire. She's the neurotic in the show - and who would want to spend an eternity with her? But the creator used the transformation to give her much needed character development and a love triangle too. Caroline's a strong (but still neurotic) female character now.

I'm betting all the main characters will be supernaturals soon, just so the love can last. Unless you're Elena/Stefan, the supernatural-human pairings are flat and die faster than you can say "plot-driven." Because of that, it's hard to ship because the breakups are so obvious.

But aside from a few gripes, I'm enjoying the show.

I believe the girl's name is Carly, if I remember right.
