In which comics does Quinlan Vos join Dooku? I want to read his entire story in order, so far I've read the Jedi in darkness and Rise of the Sith omnibuses. I think the Clone Wars Omni's that are coming out will include him, but I'm not sure...

It was in the Clone Wars comics - I think it was Volume Four. (or at least it started there, he was with Dooku for a while).

It was in Volume 4, namely the issues Jedi: Count Dooku and Republic 63. Vos's story continues in the stories Armor and The Dreadnaughts of Rendili (Volume 6) and Trackdown and The Siege of Saleucami (Volume Cool.

Volume 4 is included in the first Clone Wars Omnibus, and issue 68 (Armor) is in Volume 2. The rest will be in Volume 3 (or maybe 3 and 4; not sure how many are planned).

What exactly does "human cyborg relations" mean?

I believe, though we'll have to stretch the definition a bit, that 3PO simply meant human/machine relations. So...human/droid interaction. One of the technical definitions of cyborg is: "...computers with the capacity for humanlike thought." *shrugs*

Good question, though. Smile

That's what I was thinking. It would be weird if it meant traditional cyborgs, because we don't see them much at all in the Star Wars universe... much less need protocol droids for communication with them.

The only ones I can immediately think of is Lobot...

Does Vader not count? Does a cyborg have to have a part-computer brain?

I suppose it depends on the definition you're looking at. Anybody with just mechanical parts would include everyone from Vader to Grievous to Luke Skywalker himself. Neutral

Including the brain qualification limits the numbers of prospects. Lobot qualifies, as does Dengar, I believe. And I know there was another in the Bounty Hunter books that had like a turbolaser for a head or something. Confused

That would be D'harhan.

Also what wookieepedia has on cyborgs:

I think it was D'harhan, or something like that.

As for cyborgs, I don't think the machine brain is necessary. Star Trek has the Borg, and their brains aren't replaced with machines, just dominated by them.

I also understood "human-cyborg relations" as meaning relations (in the diplomatic sense) between cultures that are human, or cyborg (since most cyborgs are baseline human).

Recall that 3PO's job was doing etiquette and diplomacy for a Republic Senator and the Alderaan Royal Family.

But everyone's interpretations are good too.

Is there any data on the most common species in the Star Wars galaxy?

@Taral: That makes sense.
