| Haydyn Christensen did an excellent job in a movie called Shattered Glass. Honestly, I was surprised at what a good job he did, but I'm going to give him kudos when he's earned it. |
That one was awesome! Really both him and Portman are talented as heck, but in SW they were given nothing to work with and tossed in front of a green screen, its hard to perform that way. |
Which should only serve to highlight what a truly excellent actor Ewan McGregor is. He took that bad dialogue and made it golden. I know a lot of people think Ian McDiarmid was the greatest, but it's so much easier to play a bad guy than make a noble hero believable and relate-able. Both McGregor and Guiness accomplished that with Obi-Wan. |
I loved McDiarmid, but Ewan definitely had the best overall acting talent in the PT. He gave a near flawless performance. I think McDiarmid had a difficult villain though. Most villains are conflicted or deep or have a tragic backstory. Palps was legitimately evil. He did what the others couldn't with what he had. _________________ Perfection is a lifelong pursuit requiring sacrifice. The only way to get it quicker is to sacrifice the most.
