I remember, prior to reading Courtship, of hearing about some love poem that Han recited to Leia. I read the book, pretty excited, looking forward to reading it, but for some reason I couldn't find it! I was sad Crying or Very sad .

He floated down a few hundred feet, not from space. Granted his ship started the free fall in space, but he only ejected a few hundred feet from space. Which considering the freefalls we saw in Attack of the Clones, isn't too bad.

One must at least admit the humor was superb! There were so many gems. I could quote Courtship all day. So much sarcasm. Hilarious. Smile

I was a fan of Courtship. Gave us an interesting twist upon the Force and introduce to very interesting cultures. That only makes it a plus for me.

All right, granted. But I just found him completely out of character.

Han and Leia, however, were awesome.

And adorable. When I woo a woman I want it to be with a planet full of Rancors and witches that I won in a card game. Seriously, how awesome is that? Better than some cutsie bullcrap about meeting them at a Starbucks or something.

I don't agree at all. I thought Han and Leia were completely out of character. Leia was just mean to Han and he was a desperate, whiney idiot. I think the book was terrible. Just my opinion though.

Oh, that's gold right there. Laughing

I found Knight Errant a chore to read, it didn't grip me in any way.

Like a lot of others have noted, Lando Adventures are shockers. Although I do have a soft spot for Vuffi Ra.

Wow, I thought Knight Errant was great. Miller has some of the most original Sith Lords.

Choices of One is still one of my least favorites. His characterization of Luke at that point, 9 months after ANH, was terrible. It didn't vibe with other EU material at all.

I enjoyed Choices of One, haven't read much Luke between VI and V so I can't really comment though.

I think my issue with Knight Errant is that I wasn't feeling the whole setting, it didn't seem Star Wars to me. Maybe if I read the comics and went back to it I would be able to enjoy it more.

If you're a Luke fan, and want good story from that time period, I'd suggest the At War with the Empire Volume 2 and the Other Sons of Tatooine Omnibuses. I think the Empire and Rebellion comic titles were the best portrayal of Luke post-ANH.

Have to say Luke isn't a favourite, I like his character in and after NJO though.

I read the Other Sons omnibus and loved it actually. The story arc with Tank was great, I liked the whole good people on both sides aspect.

I will have to start At War With The Empire and see what I think.

Id like to see a series of books showing the sith slowly but surely taking over the galaxy. I dont know what it is about the sith but they are so much more interesting then the jedi.

That could be really cool. It would probably be better than just giving them random appearances here and there, just so us readers don't forget they exist. It would have to be after the books have caught up to the Legacy comics though and goodness knows how long that will be.

Hopefully not for a very long time. I don't want them to rush it.

New jedi Order - Traitor. I couldn't bring myself to read more than a few pages. A whole book dedicated to my most hated character in NJO, Jacen Solo? No thank you.
