Part of me wants Boba Fett to actually be dead, though. It seems so unlikely. Common sense says he's not really dead. But they could be bold and actually do it. With all the clones out there, it would be easy to do it and roll it right into canon and I think that would be pretty funny.

The story is 10 years BBY.

The story seems a little predictable, but I think is going to more about the WHO and WHY does someone want to kill Boba Fett than him actually being dead.

Frankly, I'm a little disappointed in that it only 7 guys to take out Fett, I thought it would've taken more.[/spoiler]

Story takes place 1 year BBY. Ten years is an error which will be corrected in # 2!

Editor Randy Stradley addressed the timeline placement in the Dark Horse forums:

Quote:
Also, before anybody mentions it, we are aware that the time placement listed on the inside front cover is incorrect. The story should be stated to take place one year before the Battle of Yavin instead of ten years before.

The review of issue 1 on the main site should be corrected to reflect this as the review says ten years before.

Tom Taylor tweeted this today, it's a minor spoiler, but it helps with how you look at the series.

The final issue was...lackluster. This series could have gone for 12 issues and been a great graphic novel, I wish they'd gut up and do something like that instead of nervously investing in these little 4 issue series. The story is good and has potential but it was too short and felt rushed.

I think this kind of story works best in a short form like the 4 issues. If you stretch it out too much it gets bland, and you lose the momentum.

It was really hard to write the review of the last issue without it sounding like "stuff blew up and it was cool" lol

The young kid made it for me, she was great.
