Listening to a lot of Snow Patrol right now, particularly the song Disaster Button.

Its weird because I only delve into this band when I'm feeling sappy and romantic, but there's been no sign of that in my life recently so I think I'm finally able to just enjoy the band.

I've had it on my mp3 on shuffle so I don't really know any of the songs that well yet. I tend to listen to them a lot more when the weather is cooler. Weird, I know. But the title track did really jump out and grab me. They still got it, for sure. Very intense feel to that song.

Oh ya, they're still incredible. I've always dug the band but I usually only listen to them when I'm in a long-term relationship and I'm feeling all sappy and cheesy cause, well, they're sappy and cheesy. But lately I've been really into them. Last couple days at work I've gone through the whole discography and will probably be on a Snow Patrol kick for at least a couple of weeks. Good to know there are other fans here though! Very Happy

Mara, Padme, Reep, you guys might actually like this band. Check em out, youtube a few singles or something.

Chocolate, Run, Chasing Cars, and Crack the Shutters are all good places to start, but I prefer some like How to Be Dead, Grazed Knees, Set Fire to the Third Bar, and, like you said, Disaster Button.

Lifeboats is still my favorite by them, followed by Take Back the City. On their new album, I liked Fallen Empire, The Symphony, and The Weight of Love (my fav on that album).

@Skuldren: Ya when I first got the album Lifeboats was a standout to me. The guitar work is better there than on almost any other song. Which all of their albums do you have? Cause your list is from the last 2 albums but I really do think you'd like some stuff off of the first 2 really well, given what I've gathered of your musical leanings over the last few years.
