Okay, if you come across an offer on Amazon or somewhere else where they're giving away an eBook for free, feel free to post about it here.

Tau Ceti
by Kevin J. Anderson

To start things off, Kevin J. Anderson's eBook Tau Ceti is free on Amazon right now (until March 13).

Link: http://www.amazon.com/Tau-Ceti-Stellar-Guild-ebook/dp/B0067WXL24

I haven't read this yet, so I can't recommend it. But hey, it's free and it's sci-fi.

A Gathering Evil
by Michael A. Stackpole

Also, Michael A. Stackpole's eBook A Gathering Evil is free on Amazon right now via the Kindle Prime borrowing program (if you're a Prime member with a Kindle, you can borrow one book free each month. Once you borrow a book, you'll have to wait a month before you can borrow another book)

I haven't read this one yet either, so I can't say whether it's any good or not.

David Farland (aka Dave Wolverton, author of The Courtship of Princess Leia) has a free eBook off on Amazon today.

The Golden Queen

Synopsis: When Gallen O’Day is hired to as a bodyguard to escort a young woman through the woods to the forbidden ruins at Geata Na Chruinn, it seems like an ordinary job—but all too soon, he finds himself fleeing for his life from creatures that seem like escapees from a nightmare—the alien dronon, led by their golden queen. With his best friend, a genetically engineered talking bear named Orick, and his girlfriend Maggie, Gallen soon finds himself tangled in an interstellar war that he never knew existed, racing across a host of worlds, confronted by a future unlike any that he had ever imagined.

Stakeout at the Vampire Circus

by Kevin J. Anderson

This is a short story that's part of the Dan Shamble, Zombie P.I. series. This story covers all the important details, so you can dive right in without having to read any of the other books. If you like it, I highly recommend checking out Death Warmed Over as it is much better.

This available for free on Amazon right now:

I'm pretty sure I'm right in the following assumption, but it never hurts to check: I can still download and read eBooks on my computer, if I haven't got a kindle, right?

This is not free, but I highlight it anyways.

On Comixology, digital copies of Uncanny X-Force 1-29 (including 5.1 and 19.1) are on sale! 99 cents each!!!

If you want to jump into Marvel comics, it's a good place to start. Great series, and at a buck each, why not?
