I must say that Alex (Reco) did an excellent job with editing the show, even adding in blooper reel sounds near the bloopers. I hope you all enjoyed the show as I know it's kinda hard to stay with it when that much is being discussed. Very Happy

Yeah Alex, great job! I feel so free, not having to edit. LOL. And the blooper reel is amazing.

And the bloopers kind of focus on me. Ironic, that never happened when I edited.

I'm listening to this one now. Oh, wow...this one's long. But then I'm fairly behind on these, so I don't really know what the average time is. Smile

Edit: Well that was good, and I suppose I'm now feeling better about the hardbacks. Though it still scares me that they're all in order. Confused

Christie Golden, Christie Golden! See, I remembered. Razz

I never bought a hardcover Star Wars novel, not counting the visual guides and some young novels, but never a mainstream adult novel.

Since I dont mind awayting fot the paperback, I will way until this new series are released on this format.

Since everything is paperback on my shelf, it would look strange a big book there, would break the harmony.

On the other hand, Marvel comics with I also collect I always buy on Hardcover.

Now, about the edit, I am glad you guys enjoyed, I like doing it. And Austin my goal is to add at least one blooper from you, on each show.

Regards,
Alex

Laughing

It's funny because I whispered her name and then kept whispering after. No worries, though-- I think Austin finally got it.

Reco, I am with you all the way, I have only ever bought one SW hardback (apart from reference books), and that was Jedi Quest - Path to Truth, which ONLY EVER came out in hardback, so not much of a choice! I'll definitely wait for the paperbacks, it just looks nice when your bookshelf looks all uniform.

The first hardback I ever bought, way back in the day, was a Star Trek book. *shudders* Oh, the horrors! Who could have thought anyone could be so young and naive?! (don't answer that)

Exactly what I'm doing for Order 66, as I believe I said (I forget these things) I will being getting them as hardcovers, but I'm hoping only when they are 40%, which doesn't take much as A) It's SW and B) I have Borders and B&N memberships.

Hello from vacation:-) Trying to de-stress (HA! Rolling Eyes Right)

I like hardcover books for two reasons;

1) They look good on a shelf since they are about the same size and the cover art usually looks great (sorry but the Order 66 cover still sticks in my craw).

2) Since I am getting older, they are easier to read and handle compared to paperback.

The big drawback - price. Even with a B&N discount card, they still add up. Since this new contract has been announced, I will be more selective on which books I will get hardcover . One series for me that is a no brainer, the Imperial Commando books. Since finishing Order 66, I need to see how this series progresses from here.

I'll probably end buying the hardcovers just because I'm a voracious reader and will need something during the wait.

And as always, good show guys!
