I discovered Star Wars at the beginning of the year and was immediately obsessed with it. Before I know it my internet search history has been dominated by Star Wars. I downloaded all the music, Googled everything from jokes to quotes and from quotes to top ten Star Wars characters (even though I believe it is up to each Star Wars fan to decide for him/herself).
My friends and family started complaining that I talk to much about Star Wars and I only recently managed to convince my stepsister that Star Wars is indeed NOT stupid. *gasp* Shocked
I cooled down a bit but I'm still a devoted fan! Smile

So you're a new fan, how old are you if you don't mind?

Well... I'm a little reluctant when it comes to sharing my age on the net but all I'm saying is I'm in high school.

No worries, shouldn't have asked. That does, however explain your late conversion to Star Wars fandom.

I am 22 and have been a fan since the special edition OT hit the cinema.

Yeah, I know. My dad got me hooked after he made me read the old trilogy's novelization. That was BTW sadder than the movies themselves, I literally cried at the end. Crying or Very sad

Haven't read the novelisations, have been looking for mint quality paperbacks of the individual original trilogy movies so they'll fit in with the rest of my books. I've only managed to find a complete trilogy version.

The OT Volume sits nice and snugly between all my other Star Wars books. Razz
My current mission is to look for a volume with all the PT's novelizations in, all I could get so far is individuals. Sad

I like to have all the books in chronological order, so I want them separate. I haven't seen a PT volume.

Haha I was the same way when I first discovered Star Wars. I was around twelve.

She was really pretty and it slipped out in a moment of nervousness. I'm just lucky she laughed!

when it is a slightly breezy day causing the bottom your jacket to blow out a bit behind you like a cape and you run with it pretending that you are some badass Jedi going in a slow, deliberate march across a battlefield towards enemies who are desperately trying to gun you down before you cut them apart with your sabers and the wind are really explosions causion your Jedi "robe" to billow out behind you in an awesomly cinematic way. Yes it makes walking across a parking lot so much more interesting. Razz

My two physical servers here at home are named 'Vader' and 'Skywalker' with the two virtual machines that I'm creating tomorrow called 'Solo' and 'Kenobi'. Cool

Happened to me when I was wearing a black coat that reached my knees. Suddenly walking home turned into an awesome slow-mo Darth Vader walk. Sometimes I even imagined choking innocent pedestrians with my mind. I hope they didn't mind me staring at them as if they'd done something wrong.

Vader Rules!
