As stupid as I thought Gungans were, I tried roleplaying as a Gungan and it changed my whole outlook. It can be really fun to pretend you're a bumbling Gungan. Laughing

Gungans aren't that bad. I feel like it's more as if Jar Jar ruined the whole race for a lot of people.
I myself liked the Gungans as a race and their underwater cities even though I didn't really like Jar Jar that much (still don't HATE him like a lot of others). But Jar Jar is clearly not the average Gungan and shouldn't be held as an example for the entire race.

Gungans. Not one of them was enjoyable. They were just for sillies and giggles and its just not that cool to me.

I agree with Caedus. The gungans were too child-like characters for Star Wars. Star Wars is all about detiny and fate and to think the fate of the galaxy would be in a gungans hands scares me. Shocked
As Jar Jar would say, "wesa in trouble!" XD

But what about this ridiculous creature? A Toong. Look mommy, it's Humpty Dumpty!

Lol! *falls down laughing* Don't forget, Lucas hires teams of people, so who is the foolish, the fool or chose it or the fool who drew it XD (couldn't help myself)

Toongs are definitely retarded and Ben Quadrinaros might be the stupidest character in all seven SW movies. Sorrry, K Newman, but he's one of the few characters I hope never shows up on CW, nor any other of his species.

Have you seen the new clonewars season 4 preview. There's a part where it shows some little creatures and the clone says "oh, it's going to be one of those plants" lol.

I actually like Zero the Hutt, so I agree with you 100 percent!

I think the true dream is it Jar Jar was completely removed, or the prequels were remade to actually fit with the original trilogy.

Ewoks.

Don't hate me for this- I only have them as least favorite- because they were never to me that ferocious. Sure they win the day at the end of RotJ, but there was IMO nothing showing then as ferocious. Clever yeah, brave sure. But ferocious.... they could have been re done to look more fierce to me.

I love the Ewoks but I completely understand where you're coming from. The Empire is grand and very powerful. To think these furry little creatures had a hand in their downfall is a bit unrealistic.

The best thing that happened to Gungans was Assajj and Durge

Sorry for all the Jabba fans but I HATE Hutts. They grossed me out from the minute I saw them! They are like big, over sized slug without a shell. Just plain creepy.

(Ps: Is it just me or isn't there no emoticon for Jabba?)

1- Slugs don't have shells Smile

2- I didn't mind Jabba. The species I dislike are the ones that I don't believe evolution could ever generate. Like the Abyssin

Predatory species need two eyes at minimum, for depth perception. This guy could never have evolved. And that just bothers me.

It could use natural sonar (like bats) to compliment the visual perspective.

But bringing up the evolutionary/biological aspect, I just wonder how the Hurrs could have ever evolved as a dominant species. They are fat almost to the point of immobility. However, we've only really seen the crime lords who sit on their butts and eat frogs all day. We haven't really seen the the "normal" healthy Hutts.

I might buy the sonar thing, but it doesn't answer all the questions. Bats still have two eyes (even if some are blind, they have two eyes). They started with a pair, and then gained an echolocation ability. The Abyssin either started with one eye, and gained echolocation (which I don't think is possible), or they started with echolocation and got an eye (if their sonar was good, then there'd be no need for eyes, let alone only one). If they needed a light detector, there are significantly simpler structures than a complex lens-eye for it.

For Hutts, we do see Hutts in their prime in the movies, books, comics, etc. We see Jabba (twice), Gardulla, and Ziro all move about in the movies and in TCW. They can move around fine, and are actually quite strong. The ones that are immobile are either very rich and very old, and have basically eaten themselves to immobility (like real people sometimes do), or intentionally place themselves in repulsorchairs or repulsor-armor (like the Shell Hutts) and let their bodies atrophy. But most are still able-bodied.
