What job would you want in the Star Wars Universe

Hey everyone,

I hope this is the right place for this topic, and if this has been asked before please forgive me. If you were to find yourself living in the Star Wars universe, what job would you want? I got to thinking about this question earlier today while reading Rebel Dawn and it's a difficult question for me to anwser. On the one hand I think it'd be cool to be a Jedi, but on the other hand the life of a freighter pilot/smuggler would be kind of cool. I'm not sure, but it would be between those two for me...at least right now. So, what job would you want in the SW universe?

Good question.

I would like to be an X-Wing pilot. I love the camaraderie between pilots in the Rebel Alliance and New Republic, would be great to be part of that.

I'd LOVE to be an X-Wing pilot! Those things are so maneuverable and they can shoot down TIE fighters.
But I would much rather be a Jedi... in the Old Republic times that is. That was before the Sith caused havoc and when it wasn't such a "Gasp, he's a Jedi!" issue.
But mainly it's because of the lightsabers and because I'm to lazy to stand up and get the remote most of the time... Smile

Honestly, I'd realistically want to be meteorologist on a cold planet like Hoth, Mygeeto or Rhen Var. I'm too chicken to be a fighter... Laughing

I've been thinking since I asked this question, and I still can't decide what I'd want to do. I'd basically want to do something that would allow me to travel. I'd think my top choice would be Jedi, then something in the military and lastly; smuggler.

A Smuggler/ DJ
Do my shows from where ever I am at, then hide it in other messages to broadcast it's self at a later time. I would work for the Hutts and tell the truth about the evil Emp's and the worthless Reb's and how they are keeping us hard working foke from working even harder to make a living. Because you can always trust a Hutt. Really... no Really.

As boring as this sounds: Combat Surgeon.

Guaranteed job security, and no one's going to want to shoot you, since they'll need you to patch them up in a few minutes anyway.
