Well, I'm thinking that, since your character would not have legs, he would need to move around in a wheelchair of sorts (since you probably don't want to spend Celebration Europe in one place). Your legs can therefore be tucked under the chair, with some sort of blanket covering them at the knees.
Your arm is more difficult. Tucking it behind your back, or under another blanket would be one idea, keeping the elbow (stump) visible. You would then use some kind of costume over your other arm to be the surviving robot arm.
I would be more worried about how you would replicate the "burned alive" look. But I know nothing of makeup, and only a bit about costumes.
I'm probably going to a fundraiser costume party the weekend before Halloween. Last year I was the Weighted Companion Cube. Nobody got it. This year, I'm looking for a helmet that I can turn into a Magneto helmet, but that's dependent on finding the helmet. _________________ It was the year of fire… the year of destruction… the year we took back what was ours.
It was the year of rebirth… the year of great sadness… the year of pain… and the year of joy.
It was a new age. It was the end of history. It was the year everything changed.
The year is 2261.
The place: Babylon 5.
